Label Paper Overview
Label paper — also called label face stock or tag paper — is a high-quality paper engineered as the printable surface layer for pressure-sensitive labels, wet-glue labels, and hang tags. The paper must be strong enough to withstand high-speed label converting (die-cutting, matrix stripping, rewinding), smooth enough for fine print reproduction, and dimensionally stable under adhesive coating. Available as C1S (coated one side) for wet-glue labels and C2S (coated two sides) for premium hang tags. Grammages from 60 gsm (lightweight labels) to 250 gsm (structural hang tags).
