Newsprint is a lightweight, uncoated paper grade used mainly for coldset web offset newspapers, advertising inserts and high-volume publications. Buyers should select the paper by grammage, brightness, opacity, reel width, outer diameter, core size and press configuration rather than by price alone. Reel supply is the normal production format, while sheets can be confirmed for suitable specifications. A representative sample or press trial is recommended before a large order.

Can the same newsprint run on every coldset press?
Not automatically. Reel width, outer diameter, core, tension, grammage and surface condition should match the press. We recommend approving a representative sample or production trial before a large run.
