Newsprint Overview
Newsprint is a low-cost, lightweight paper grade designed primarily for high-speed web offset (coldset) printing of newspapers, advertising flyers, and mass-circulation periodicals. Made predominantly from mechanical wood pulp (groundwood or TMP) with a small percentage of chemical pulp for strength, newsprint is engineered for runnability, printability, and economy at scale.
